Joseph Rodgers
Having completed his A Levels, Joe joined Merlo UK as a Sales Co-Ordinator in 2006. Progressing his career with Merlo through the avenue of Sales, Joe became Regional Sales Manager and subsequently National Sales Manager in 2014.
Following a successful 2 year period as UK Sales Manager for a niche Telehandler rental company, Joe joined GT Lifting as Sales Manager in 2018, becoming director and General Manger in January 2021.
With a vision of establishing GT Lifting as the UK’s number 1 ROTO & Heavy Lift Hire/Sales company, Joe's business ethos is based on surrounding himself with the very best people in the industry who share his enthusiasm and goals.
With a personal passion for power lifting, Joe can often be seen eating 7 times a day – To the annoyance of his colleagues in the office.
Keir Trundell
Service Director
Being the son in a family business, it would be easy to think that success has come lightly to Keir. However the truth is Keir, one the longest serving member of the GT Lifting team has worked tirelessly to play a major role in the successful growth of the company.
With a technical knowledge of the Merlo & Magni product , enviable amongst the manufacturers themselves, Keir has lead and created an industry leading service department which unmatched and unrivalled.
Becoming Service Director in 2017, Keir now not only oversees the extensive service department, but now also plays a key role in all company strategic decisions, while steering new business ventures such as our Parts & retail service division in a successful manner.
A young, dynamic and enthusiastic leader – His only downfall would be his support for local side Brighton Albion!
Caroline Appleton
Caroline is amongst the selected few founding members of the GT Lifting team. Having been with the company since its creation in 2002, there isn’t an aspect of the company which Caroline has not had a positive influence on.
Throughout her working career here at GT Lifting, Caroline has worked within the accounts department, working her way to the Hire Desk where she became a leading figure as the Hire Desk Manager.
Fast forwarding her successful career , Caroline became our operations manager and subsequent operations director in Jan 2021 and has taken up the challenge of heading up our new spare parts & retail service business – To which she is soon becoming a huge success.
To say there isn’t a part of the company which Caroline doesn't know extensively, gives no justice .
Paul Marjoram
Paul’s rise through GT Lifting , stems from a background far away from the industry he now finds himself in.
Having worked in the finance sector for over a decade, Paul’s career took a different turn when he decided to join GT Lifting back in 2016.
Learning his craft within the sales department, Paul’s technical and analytical nature was soon discovered. Having been with the company for just under a year, Paul successfully completed his qualifications to become an appointed person.
Directly responsible for the hugely successful growth of the GT Lifting contract lift division, Paul is now instrumental in offering our customers the technical and safety critical expertise needed when dealing with ROTO & Heavy Lift Telehandlers.
Today, Paul is our Lifting Operations Manager overseeing the entire GT Lifting technical sales division and is often referred and relied upon for his former finance experience, when it comes to new and existing business strategies.
Playing off a bandit handicap of below 10, Paul is an avid Golfer who can often been seen roaming the links (Just not on a Friday before 17:00pm)

Jason Hayward
Jason started his career in the construction industry in 1998 as a roofer and cladder. In 2010 Jason went into the management side of the roofing and cladding sector and worked his way up to a Senior projects manager position over the years, in this time he gained vast experience of the industry on all levels and gained his NVQ level 6 in construction management along with a wealth of other training and qualifications including his NVQ level 5 in lifting operations as an Appointed person.
Jason has known and worked alongside us here at GT lifting for many years and has a close relationship to the business. At the turn of 2021 Jason started with us as a direct employee and has fully embraced the career change , with his understanding of what we as a business supply , he looks forward to taking the business to the next level with the team.
Damian Mansfield
Damian started out as an apprentice plant engineer at local plant hire company; gamble Jarvis in 2002. Following the successful completion of his apprenticeship he moved into a mobile engineer role covering customer breakdowns across the whole of the UK.
In 2008 Damian joined GT lifting as a mobile engineer. Throughout the years Damian has successfully developed his role and is now workshop foreman ensuring the day to day running of the workshop is run as smooth as possible.

Damian has been involved with ROTO Telehandlers since its early inception in the UK market - Having an unrivalled knowledge and hand on experience over the complete evolution of these unique and niche machines.

Over the last 2 years, Damian has also become instrumental in the success of our sales division, offering customers a complete and re assuring technical explanation of the machines and becoming a key contact in all of our customer after sales requirements.

Sara Cornwall
Hire Desk Co-Ordinator
Having joined the company in Mid 2021 , Sara has fast become an essential part of the GT Lifting team.
Joining us without prior industry experience – Sara has adapted fantastically and learnt the ropes of what is a very technical and bespoke product range.
Her excellent organisational and communication skills have led Sara to be a first port of call favourite amongst our customers. ​​Away from the office, Sara is very much a homely person whose time is taken up quickly with the rewarding challenge of managing children and home.
