To all of our valued customers,

GT Liftings number one priority is and always has been the health, safety and wellbeing of our colleagues, suppliers & customers.

Ever since the outbreak of the Covid-19 virus, GT Lifting have closely followed the advice of Government, NHS & Public Health England and have implemented appropriate actions to help prevent the spread of the virus and keep our colleagues, suppliers and customers safe.

Given the current needed restrictions, GT Lifting believe the responsible approach is to adjust the way in which our staff work, in order to ensure complete compliance, while also offering our “essential workers & critical construction project” customers, the services they require.

GT Lifting have implemented our contingency plans to ensure all home working of its staff is carried out where possible and that our engineer cover for the required critical works is still available at all times.

What is GT Lifting policy for hire suspensions during these government restrictions ?

For all hire suspensions, please contact us on hiredesk@gtlift.co.uk or 0345 6037180.

During these government restrictions, and unlike many other ROTO & Heavy Lift Telehandler hire companies, we are accepting hire suspension requests but would ask that machines stay on site under your insurance and remain your responsibility – There will be no cost attributed to our customers during suspensions while government restrictions are in place.

Should you wish to off hire the machine(s) & or attachment(s) and if there is no alternative but to collect the equipment, we ask that you respect CPA terms and conditions.

Where possible, we kindly ask you to provide at least 48 hours’ notice for all off-hires and that you ensure we are granted full access to site, in order to allows us to facilitate our required collections.


GT Lifting more than ever, wishes to work closely with all of our customers and by being flexible and approachable, we are eager to help us all return to some sort of normality as soon as possible.


All of our equipment Is fitted with the latest tracking and telematic software. As such we kindly ask that all of our customers that have suspended hires, notify us as and when they require their contracts to recommence.
